Overview
MailTracker Kill blocks email open-tracking beacons and shows which vendor tried to track you in Gmail and Outlook on the web. We do not run a backend that receives your email content.
Data collection
No analytics, telemetry, advertising IDs, or accounts.
Local storage
Only in chrome.storage.local: on/off preferences, unwrap toggle, local detection log, and counters.
Permissions
- storage — preferences and log
- declarativeNetRequest — block tracking beacons
- alarms — refresh badge
- Host access (webmail only) — chips and unwrap inside Gmail/Outlook
